Ann ViverosI am an able-bodied white cisgender female. My pronouns are she/her. I am an inquiry-based mandala artist, educator, and meditation teacher, death doula and end of life coach. I am a former Women’s Art Resources of Minnesota (WARM) protégée and have shown my art in multiple venues in the Twin Cities. I was a student of meditation and inquiry for fifteen years with the esoteric Humans in Training Institute, which focused on awakening the shared root teachings of many of the great spiritual traditions. I am a certified Morning Altars practitioner and teacher. I am a graduate of the Conscious Dying Institute. I graduated from the year long teacher training at Mindful Schools. I partnered with the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing at the University of Minnesota as a mindfulness coach in their Mindfulness in Education Wellbeing in Service of Teaching and Learning (WiSTL) program. I have served in public education for 30+ years, first as a classroom & Spanish teacher, then teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and later as a teacher coach and mentor. I am currently a Social and Emotional Learning Lead at Phoenix School Counseling. My passion is teaching self-care and inquiry-based mindful awareness practices.
