Sacred Passage End of Life Coach & Death Doula

End of Life Vision Map

Allow me to be your guide in the creation of a vision map for your last days to help you envision how you’d like to be cared for physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.  I will listen with radical love, attention and acceptance. I will be present to support you and your loved ones to carry out your wishes.

Sacred Spaces, Rituals, Altars & Art

Picture
Learn mindfulness, meditation, ritual and art making to create a sacred space for the dying and their loved ones.  It is my goal to normalize and celebrate death so we may see death as a sacred rite of passage, an initiation, a journey.

Together we can create ritual using the ancient tradition of mandala making
using pinecones, stone, twigs, leaves, flowers or simply pen and paper. Mandala making is for individuals, families or as a community event.

As an End-of-Life Conscious Dying Doula, Coach & Educator,
I believe it is important to hold space for the dying and their loved ones.
I believe in the importance of restoring death to its sacred place in the beauty, mystery & celebration of life and
to contribute to the evolution of human consciousness.

"This is love: to fly toward a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment.
First to let go of life.  Finally, to take a step without feet."

When I was in kindergarten my father died after open heart surgery, since that early age I have always had a curiosity about death.  As a teen, I often assisted my mother, who was a florist, deliver flowers to the funeral home, where I would observe my mother adjust a tie or necklace and say a prayer for the deceased and their families.  I grew up with understanding death as sacred, as something mysterious, as a vital part of living and what it means to be human.  I believe that we are all beautiful, whole human beings and I welcome you to explore the mystery of death and dying with me.

I have successfully completed the Conscious Dying Educator (CDE) Program which includes the completion of End of Life Doula and Conscious Dying Coach (CDC) Certificate. I hold an M.Ed. from the University of Minnesota in Second Languages and Cultures Education. I am fluent in Spanish/English. I am a life-long learner and educator who believes in radical love and acceptance. I am a self-taught mandala artist inspired by world cultures and traditions as well as personal dreams, meditations and inquiry.

Why did I become an End-of-Life Conscious Dying Doula, Coach and Educator?  It is my belief that as I study death and allow death to be my teacher, I will have a positive effect on the lives of others as they explore their own relationship with death and dying. Talking about dying changes how we live.  Conscious dying is about having a conscious life.
