"This is love: to fly toward a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment.
First to let go of life. Finally, to take a step without feet." Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī
When I was in kindergarten my father died after open heart surgery, since that early age I have always had a curiosity about death. As a teen, I often assisted my mother, who was a florist, deliver flowers to the funeral home, where I would observe my mother adjust a tie or necklace and say a prayer for the deceased and their families. I grew up with understanding death as sacred, as something mysterious, as a vital part of living and what it means to be human. I believe that we are all beautiful, whole human beings and I welcome you to explore the mystery of death and dying with me.Please contact me at annviveros@me.com for information about availablity and fees.

Why did I become an End-of-Life Conscious Dying Doula, Coach and Educator? It is my belief that as I study death and allow death to be my teacher, I will have a positive effect on the lives of others as they explore their own relationship with death and dying. Talking about dying changes how we live. Conscious dying is about having a conscious life. |
