Mindful Mondays VII email is one that Emily Annoni, Andersen 7th grade Math Teacher, sent out to her Middle School Team a couple of weeks ago; so some of you might have already seen it but I thought there were some great resources to send to everyone.

Here's to a great week!
Ann

Here are some of the videos I talked about yesterday at the meeting!

The video I showed yesterday (some students thought it was cool to watch)

Bell Sounds
One bell: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5lE0wTDdZc
I use this if I'm having students count their breaths.
Another exercise is to use this bell and have students try to identify the exact moment the bell ends.

Multiple bells: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGFog-OuFDM
I use this bell when I'm having students be mindful for a minute and a half at the beginning of class. I usually let it play for 3 bells. Having the bell going the whole time gives them something else to try to focus on. You could just ring the single bell and have them focus on just their breathing for a minute and a half.

Let me know if you have any other questions or need help getting started!
